Getting ready to PCS

FINALLY, I can post pictures from our PCS Road Trip... and what an experience it was!


Pre move...
Movers came to pack up all our household goods on May 24th and picked them up on the 25th.

Daniella wasn't sure what to make of the movers packing up our stuff. She kept hiding. ;)

 

Once our household goods were gone... this was how we lived for a week and a half... legos, air mattresses and luckily we decided to keep a small tv and dvd player with us.

 

 

The "Road Trip Activity" bin I put together for the girls. Each of them had their very own road trip binder filled with tons of stuff to do. Coloring pages, maps, state info (for each state we went through), extra writing and drawing paper, small white board with dry erase markers, etc. SO GLAD I made these for them! They enjoyed them the whole trip. :) Some other things I included were new markers and crayons, favorite stuffies, a small bin of toys, books, dvds, Isabella & Makayla's ipods, Daniella's Leapad, a frisbee, bubbles, & jumpropes (for when we stopped to stretch).

 

 

I also put together a small basket with wrapped prizes. They got to open a little surprise every so many miles as long as they behaved. Worked like a charm... they ALL behaved so well. Some of the items I wrapped were packages of gum, new coloring books, glow in the dark wands, poppers, balloons, and bubbles.
