11.13.11 - Shane had duty today (Sunday) so we went to church last night for the Saturday night service. Not sure if you are familiar with the name Daniel "Rudy" Ruettiger. But he was the "celebrity guest" speaker at our church last night. He's now a motivational speaker but he was a former collegiate football player for the University of Notre Dame, who is best known as the inspiration for the motion picture Rudy.
Who's seen Rudy? If you haven't you should! It's a good one.
Anyways, I am thankful that our church has the capabilities to reach out and ask these fascinating people to come share their stories with all of us. It's really incredible to hear what they have to say, how they found God, and how their lives have changed.
