I cant believe I have TWO babies in school now. Isabella is in 1st grade this year and Makayla is in a.m. pre-k. AND I am very, VERY happy to say that I love their new school. It is so nice and offers so much for the girls. Their teachers are great and everyone is really friendly. They've already started making new friends and everything.
The girls love being motivated... and constantly doing something! No more "mommy, i'm bored" or "mommy can we...". Now, they are no longer bored! Yay!! It's so awesome to see them bonding with other little people their age and then coming home at the end of the day all excited about what they've learned.
Their school also gives more parent-child "homework", so we've been getting to bond even more and share what they've been learning during the day. Another thing is they have a reading log in their take-home folder. So the more you read with your child and log it, the more incentives they get at school. Which even if its a sticker, it's so worth it. Not only for them but for us, as their parents too!
I'm just all around happy with the district, the school, their teachers and the fact that they love it!!
