Homemade Lemonade

This was our first homemade lemonade experience. I have been wanting to make homemade lemonade with my girls for a long time now but always blew it off, I guess.
Well blow it off no longer! I got a cute little hand juicer at Walmart for less the $4 and a bunch of lemons at HEB. They have them on sell right now for 8 for a $1, that's good right?
Anyways for less then $6 we have been able to make two pitchers of homemade lemonade without all the junk and sugar they put into the Country Time powder lemonade you can buy at the store.
I love being able to share these experiences with my girls... even if it's just lemonade. It's moments like this that I think they will truly remember. The hands on time, doing simple things together. At least I really hope they remember. They'll remember, right? I want them to know I care and I cherish all the time we have together. Because before I know it they will be grown, out of the house, and having their own families.
I, without a doubt love my 3 little girls more the life itself and I hope they always know that!! I not only put this blog out there for close friends and family but for them too. It will always be out there for them to look back and reflect on. I hope they remember all the fun things we did together when they were kids growing up.
*Sorry if it seems like I am being so sentimental. This whole cancer thing has really gave me a new perspective on life and makes me see things through a new light and not take things for granted. And even though it's "just making lemonade". It's a memory that I will always treasure.
