Yay! We did it... we're moved, all unpacked, everything is in its place and there are NO more boxes!! Since it was a "local" move and into a place that has the same floorplan as we had before... unpacking was pretty easy. We moved in on Friday morning and by Sunday it was pretty much put together. We've been working on a couple last minute things like hanging things on the wall, etc. But now... less then a week later, we are complete! And it feels good. I hate living out of boxes and having things unorganized. I simply can not function in a disarray!!
So we are here, living on base and completely happy! I'm so thankful our name FINALLY came up on the waiting list. No more 30-45 minute drive to work for Shane, no more hick/inbred/hillbilly town, no more cemetary down the street, no more "in the middle of no where" feeling. Shane and I are both "city" people and even though Corpus Christi isnt that big of a city... we feel like we are back in our element and are totally content with it. :)
